Review and security checks
Every submission is moderated before publishing. We may scan packages with antivirus tools and inspect code. Violations lead to removal and may lead to account termination, withheld earnings, and reports to authorities.
DMCA / copyright infringement procedure
If you believe an item infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent at dmca@[domain] (to be set up before launch) containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature;
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed;
- The URL of the infringing item on AppStallio;
- Your contact information (address, phone, email);
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.
What happens next: we remove or disable the item promptly and notify the seller. The seller may submit a counter-notice (with the elements required by 17 U.S.C. 512(g)). If a valid counter-notice is received, we may restore the item in 10-14 business days unless the complainant notifies us that it has filed a court action. Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated.
Before launch, the designated agent must be registered with the U.S. Copyright Office DMCA Designated Agent Directory.
